Proposal
I propose to create a documentary on LGBT Discrimination in the work environment. My aim is to produce the documentary in a performative form to connect with the audience's emotions. The target audience is aimed at male's and female's aged 14 - 18. The overall aim of this documentary is to show people in the LGBT community that they should not be ashamed of who they are and should stand up to those who do shame them. The filming location would just be a room with a chair and blank walls (to interview those involved). I would involve dramatic recreations of discrimination using different parts of the college. The reason i'd use the college is because it is a common place work environment that people can relate to.

The only equipment I would need is one DSLR, and SD card, a tripod and some soft lights. I don't want to over complicate the documentary by having multiple camera's as it can become distracting for the audience and pulls the focus away from the documentary subject. I would hope to get people to volunteer from the LGBT community to interview and ask if they would share any experiences with discrimination. This is because the documentary will seem very real and very natural and hopefully overall will be more effective for the audience.
