Unilever Research

                                         Unilever
Unilever is a British - Dutch consumer goods company founded in 1930. It

owns over 400 well known brands such as 'PG Tips', 'Marmite' and many more. Unilever offers food and household goods. In 1929, Unilever was formed by british soap makers 'the lever brothers' and dutch margarine producer 'margarine unie'. Now Unilever have a net income of over 5.5 billion Euros and own many really well known brands.

Brand one: PG Tips
PG Tips uses a monkey as a mascot. This is quite an effective way to advertise as it is a good gimmick.
Brand two: Lynx

Lynx adverts often include futuristic and sleek looking graphics. This makes it seem like a premium product for what it is.

Brand three: Marmite

Marmite which is a yeast extract spread is often not to everyone's taste but they use this in their advertising with the slogan 'You'll either love it or hate it'.
